I purchased the 2 drawer cabinets to serve as night tables in my bedroom. They are made of solid wood, not a veneer covering fiberboard. There is no assembly required and the bronze hardware is in place. The only effort that is demanded of you is to unpack them. And that is quite a job! Every effort has been made to protect these cabinets from damage: they are packed in a carton similar to the total packing for mail order furniture; that carton is within a larger carton, & 2-3" of space surrounding the interior carton has been filled with hardened foam.
I do wish that other finishes were available. Mahogany or walnut is easier to coordinate with other furniture. |

| If you are like me, I questioned the some assembly me be required statement on this product. Much to my surprise the cabinet came completely assembled out of the box. A nice perk indeed. |
