I have this product and got it new. I have the same problem. Cleaner bottle emty. No good. I won't buy this product again. It is no good. I did not buy this from . will treat you right. I been shoping at for years. And if any thing is wrong with any product they will make it good. I will not buy Memorex no more. I am going with something else has.

This Wet-type system applies cleaning solution to the cleaning tape by way of a separate applicator shaft geared to the wind-off spool (that's the left side spool) - the problem is that when the head cleaner is inserted into your VCR, the wind-off spool is pushed out of alignment with the applicator shaft, and the gears jam up instead of meshing. Result - when you press PLAY, the tape will NOT wind in the forward direction (because the gears are jamming), and your VCR thinks that the tape is at the end, so it drops out of PLAY. Alternately, the VCR may eject the tape or simply turn itself off.
I can predict that everyone who buys this tape will get the same results - it would be a mistake to buy this tape thinking - oh it happened to them, but it won't happen to me. Crappy product design is crappy product design.
Interesting too - the cardboard slip case the tape came in was so tight the tape wouldn't slip out, I had to tear it off. Later, I checked the tape box AND the tape itself - no serial numbers whatsoever. Made in CHINA - gee. |

| I received a package to where it was no good. There was no cleaning solution in the bottle what so ever. I sent you an email about it and asked what you were going to do about it but I never received a response. I had to go buy another VCR cleaning kit so I could watch my movies. I will not recommend you to anyone I know. |

| I have tried 2 of these things now and they both exhibited the same problems exactly. The tape will jam the VCR and it will either eject or the VCR will power off. The cleaner will not run at all. I even tried it in multiple VCRs. It jammed all VCRs. I have no idea what is wrong with it. JUNK!!! |
