| | I definitely like these scissors. They are lightweight and comfortable to use, and work perfectly for a variety of tasks (cutting paper, snipping threads, cutting string, opening packages). They are balanced well and the blades come together cleanly and cut well. They aren't what I'd reach for as sewing shears, but they don't claim to be, either. I seem to need scissors for one thing or another all the time, so I have pairs scattered about the house. I look for these first every time, and might even have to replace some of the scattered pairs with these so I find them first every time, too. |

| These are quite possibly the best pair of scissors I have ever owned. I simply love them.
First of all, they have a great grip. It is easy to hold them, and the rubber on them keeps my fingers from slipping around for great control.
They cut amazingly as well. I have tried them on several different things -- different kinds of paper, cardboard, plastic packaging, fabric, etc. In every instance the scissors cut cleanly and precisely, and without a big struggle.
These are really great scissors at a great price! |

| I was very happy to receive these scissors through the Vine program. They are great, all purpose scissors. I have used them for all kinds of things - from opening packages in the kitchen to trimming the "underlayment" when we were installing laminate flooring!

| I got these and another pair of scissors (made from titanium) at the same time and, to be honest, I do not see one cutting better than the other. They both cut great and were comfortable to hold and use. Also, and this is big for me, but when you opened the scissors and pushed to make a long cut, it cut pretty easily and didn't catch like some other scissors do at times.
The odd thing is, they were the same price. While these work great, I would probably consider picking up the titanium ones because I guess they are supposed to last longer. These are the pair I was talking about: Scotch Precision Ultra Edge Scissor, 8 Inch, White / Green (1458TG)
I can't attest to how this will work over time, but for the few months that I've been using it I think it has worked great! |
