| Disappointed | 2010-06-29 | 2 / 5 |

| A bit disappointed with this passport holder. Plastic holder is torn already after handling this for the first time. Leather has a really strong smell and the holder itself has a "poofy" feel to it. Not happy with this purchase. |

| Nice price, protects your passport, looks good and so far has lasted well. Good purchase and nice gift for friends who travel. |

This is a RFID blocking passport case. All new passports have RFID tags in them (radio frequency Identification). This makes getting through security in some places much quicker. HOWEVER, it also makes it easy for someone to steal your information if you don't block that signal when you don't need it.
Anyone with a laptop and an antenna can pull your information if they are in range. This case prevents them from doing that. Don't make Identity theft easy for people and protect yourself. |
| Saves me from demagnatizing my hotel key | 2009-10-14 | 5 / 5 |

| OK so maybe demagnatizing isn't a word. But it is a problem. I have an IPhone that likes to kill every hotel key I'm issued and I am constantly stopping at the front desk to have my key refreshed - or if I forget, going up to my room only to realize its happened again and back I go to the front desk. This Wallet kills 2 birds with one stone. I can put the passport into the wallet in an open position so I don't have to remove it from the Wallet at customs or security, saving time as we all race to juggle our ID's and take off our shoes. And then I slip my new hotel key into the wallet and it does indeed keep it fresh as well as provide a secure place so I always know where I stashed the room key - I even keep the key folder here so I can remember what room I am in today. Also a bit more stylish - I have the wine cover and it is easy to find in my dark purse or briefcase interiors. |
| A bit tight for space | 2009-10-08 | 4 / 5 |
|
| The case is very tightly made, there is virtually no room for anything beyond the minimum of a passport and two or three credit cards, before it starts looking bulky but it works well (I think). I had forgotten about the fact that you need to put this case in your carry-on luggage and through the x-ray machine so the body scanner kept going off as I walked through it with the case in my hand. The security agent didn't know about it either because even after I had removed literally everything metal there was still beeping. Only after I put it in my bag did the machine clear me. The agent still didn't realize what could have caused the machine to react to my passport case, but by then I vaguely remembered reading an review mentioning it... The case looks nice and feels like a decent quality, nothing special, yet worth the money. |
