| They're Index Cards not sheet metal | 2010-03-21 | 4 / 5 |
| 1) I find it hilarious that you can write a review on index cards. They're made out of paper so you shouldn't be expecting something the quality of sheet metal.
2) most people buying index cards know what they want. Not sturdy enough? Glue two of them together or buy the sheet metal and get a marker.
Okay all joking aside, here's why I bought them:
3) I use them for writing. When coming up with a story it's nice to write scenes on index cards. if you're a writer of books or screenplays and are looking for new techniques, think about looking into index cards to help. they're cheap and you can physically move sections around. |
| | I agree with some of the other reviewers about these thin Index Cards. For over $3.00 I expect something substantial. These are barely thicker than a few cheats of paper. Total useless for college flash cards. |

| I use these in an airplane shop to write notes on since I can't remember all the parts I remove from an airplane. They worked great for a while, but there's no mention that they are flammable/ and corrosive. All of my Index Cards deteriorated/disintegrated when a corrosive substance spilled on them in the shop. Some also caught on fire when a heat wand dropped some flame on them. I lost all my work.
So, if you're in a gym glass drawing legs or feet they are great. Or an artist drawing cubist angles, I'd get them.
But if you're in industry get something more reliable. |
| Ruled only on one side. Other side is blank | 2010-02-04 | 2 / 5 |
| | I feel ridiculous entering a review for the simplest of products, and yet I was still able to be duped! Yes, I expected both sides of these cards to have lines. |
| What Happened Index Cards.... It's like I don't even know you anymore. | 2010-01-12 | 1 / 5 |
| | Internets, it's a pack of index cards from Mead, it is what it is and what it is is no surprise. What is however is the drastic change in price. I picked up a pack for 44 cents that's ($0.44) back in October of 2009. After getting my order, the automated pricing system hiked up the cost and has kept it that way ever since. Having a prime account made that purchase awesome, but now it's not. The awesome is gone. Mead 100 count 3x5 index cards (ruled) gets one (margins make this impractical to buy) out of five. $3.49 for a pack of index cards, yeah right, I'd rather drive to office max and pay 79 cents. If you're anything like me, you don't want to drive to a store and waste time on that, just for index cards... I get it and I agree. The simplest and well easiest move is to buy Index Cards: Pendaflex Oxford, 3x5 Inches, White, Ruled, Other Boring Facts, 1000 Cards the trip to a store isn't worth your time or gas or life. Cheers. |
