My first issue with the whiteboard may not even be the whiteboard's fault but rather an oversight of mine but I wanted to warn others anyhow. The whiteboard has a magnetic surface but requires the usage of screws to hang it. I originally bought the whiteboard with the hopes of sticking it to my fridge so my roommates and I could write stuff on it as needed but now I just have it tucked away because it's too gaudy to hang up on a wall.
It's a decent whiteboard for what it does but the sticky notes seem to be some custom accordion like type which I've never seen before. I also can't see how to easily detach the back to replace them and I had no instructions with my whiteboard. Personally I would be happier without the sticky notes too given it doesn't look as good as it does it in the picture at least in my opinion. Also, because there are no instructions, I have no idea what two giant plastic screws are for... I tried shoving them in every hole the board has but to no success. I half feel like I'm playing Cinderella for whiteboards (where is the fair hole to which this screw fits). Seriously though if they intended the board to be hung (and with such unique hanging pieces) they should have considered a small instruction pamphlet if even only on the back of the packaging.
In general it's a fairly cheap whiteboard and it does what it should do. Just may not be worth buying and the fact it's not magnetic backing (just front) may confuse people given it's not called out. I'd suggest buying a different product that doesn't require the said setup steps. |

| I bought 4 of these to use as individual whiteboards. The postit holder is a hole in the front of the whiteboard into which a plastic holder is snapped. If you need postits with your hand-held whiteboard, this is a feature. If you want maximum whiteboard space, you'll wish they'd made this removable in some way. The whiteboard itself is magnetic and functional. The pen/eraser is also magnetic and is surprisingly better than most whiteboard markers. |
