The locking hooks on this cord are too hard to use. If you think you'll be able to hook one end on something, stretch the cord tight, and easily hook the other end while under pressure, you will be disappointed. Locking feature is hard to operate with one hand.
I like the idea, just not the execution. I recommend going for a different product.

| I bought this to secure my spinning wheel to the Magna Cart. It is so strong and easy to use that I won't need to put the wheel in its bag. The lock is easy to open and close and it won't scratch anything, which is important with a wooden wheel. I highly recommend this bungee cord. |

| What a great idea: a bungee that can hook and lock. Best purchase in a long time. Perfect with a hand cart. |
| A Great Idea for Rolling Luggage and Handcarts | 2008-11-04 | 4 / 5 |

Bungee cords are great things; they're strong, versatile and reliable. But we seem to have forgotten that they were originally designed for use outdoors, on trucks, by people wearing gloves and transporting things in crates. Those metal hooks get rusty, they're murder on lightweight luggage and clothing, and can be downright dangerous when they slip loose.
The "Snap-Lok" is a great improvement on all those things: No sharp points, a positive locking action, and plastic construction which means lighter weight and no rust. They're not as strong as the standard metal hooks, but hey - nobody's getting rid of those if you need them. These are just a lot lighter, safer and more secure for about 90% of what people are using small bungees for these days. They're a perfect match for small, folding handcarts and rolling luggage. |
