I almost didn't buy this bag after reading the "Not for tall or busty people" review but after taking a chance on it, I have no idea what that reviewer was complaining about. I am a 6'6" male who is extremely long-waisted (finding a t-shirt that fits my elongated torso is next to impossible) and this strap is long enough that that the center of the bag hangs directly on my hip, which is pretty much exactly where I like to carry my laptop.
Due to the width of the strap I could potentially see how this bag might pose a problem to a busty woman, but if you're tall and skinny there's no way this bag would be "too short" for you unless you like to sling your laptop down to your knees.

I am 5"4' and this bag's strap is much too long. It hangs low on my body and looks ridiculous. I shortened the shoulder strap as much as it could be shortened, but the strap was still too long. This bag would look ok on a tall person and perhaps they are designed more for men's bodies.
I liked the soft cushioning for the laptop, and wish Belkin would make a smaller version. The 15 inch bag just looks oversized and silly on me. I returned it. |

I purchased this messenger bag because it seemed to be the most economical choice. It was inexpensive, compact, and seemed to have loads of space/compartments to hold necessities.
When it came in the mail, I was sorely disappointed --literally.
The strap for the bag has virtually no padding at all, making it painful to actually carry it.
Not only that, but it's very "snug" (as I read another reviewer write), meaning that it is difficult to actually fit anything other than the laptop itself.
In retrospect, it would have been much better to get something slightly more, that would spare my shoulders, my arms, and my back the pain that this bag has caused. |
